Happy "last few days" of 2010. It is hard to believe that in 4 short days we will welcome yet another new year. Where in the world has 2010 gone? I hope you and your family have had an amazing holiday season and an awesome 2010!
I CAN'T believe that it had been nearly 7 months since my last post..... Wow, time FLIES when you are having FUN! :-)
I feel like I have so many updates to make, so here they go!
First and foremost, I have now completed my final two semesters of coursework in OT school. Next week, I begin my first clinical rotation in Pediatrics. I can't begin to tell you how excited I am about these fieldwork experiences. I finally get to do what I love.... what could be better than waking up everyday knowing you are going to "work" to help children accomplish their dreams and live life to the fullest!?! I honestly can't think of many things I would rather do. After completing twelve weeks of fieldwork in Pediatrics, I will then be "working" in an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility, which I am thrilled about too. Through both experiences, my goals are to make a difference in each of my patients' lives AND enjoy each day!
Highlights of each month....
June- Began my 2nd year of OT school
July- a visit from a great friend and a visit to see my best friend
August- celebrated my sweet mother's birthday, had my nephew at my house for 3 days to go to the beach/ waterpark/ movies, Camp Hand to Hands (CIMT with some cute children), and A's first day of K-5.

Lauren
